Conquering and invading the privacy, liberty and freedom of a country or state is inexcusable and baseless. Irredentist movements are never justified. Irredentism advocates the annexation of states and territories by another state on the basis of shared culture or previous historical possession. Such movements are the root cause of all conflicts and calamities. It is extremely intolerable to lose complete independence, recourse and the ability to defend one's rights. Liberty is the mother of goodness and virtue, and “independence is happiness.” All independent countries and territories have the right to fight for their resources, especially oil. The Gulf War between Iraq and Kuwait resulted in the demand for the annexation of Kuwait's lands to Iraq, declaring them Iraqi territory. This claim was an excuse to get their hands on a sufficient and abundant amount of Kuwait's oil and resources. On August 2, 1990, at 2 a.m., Iraq secretly began to invade Kuwait. The state of Kuwait was annexed by force, and within days Saddam Hussein proclaimed it the nineteenth province of Iraq. Immoral and barbaric fighting broke out between the two political parties, along with the loss of innocent and blameless souls. The invaders caused much destruction to the state's foundations and infrastructure, and house burglaries were widespread. Iraqi soldiers attempted to replace all Kuwaiti license plates with Iraqi ones. Above all, the treatment meted out to the Kuwaitis by the Iraqis was callous and unforgiving. Iraqi troops detained thousands of citizens who were interrogated in a barbaric manner. Numerous murders and rapes also took place. Kuwait fought with blood and tears for its land, its oil and its freedom. ...... middle of paper ......ect for minority rights. It is obligatory to accept the nature of irredentist predispositions and try to form methods and tactics to manage or resolve the conflicts that they have created and will create later in the future. Losing all your independence, resources and ability to stand up for your rights is extremely inexcusable. In almost every part of the world, many cultural and ethnic factions live together and so it is almost impossible to draw a series of boundaries encircling people belonging to a single ethnic group. Additionally, it is extremely difficult to integrate everyone who does not resemble a dominant ethnic group. Irredentism always has an irritating effect on minority or majority struggles. By developing a common distrust and animosity, it regularly causes violence, and sometimes even wars...
