Increasing Productivity Through TrainingOrganizations with effective training programs produce effective workers to complete the task and achieve the desired results. When employees are no longer producing quality work, the organization must examine the methods given to employees to accomplish their assigned task. Landa (2000) reported, “Most supervisors and managers have experienced disappointment and frustration when an employee gradually drifts away from superior performance. to acceptable and often even lower, or does not meet the level of expectations established during hiring. There are many reasons why employees stop performing at their workplace, such as boredom, overwork, lack of motivation, etc. This is why it is important for managers and leaders of an organization to provide ongoing training, coaching and maintain open communication with employees. In this case, employees receive complaints from the groups, which also indicate that changes need to take place within the organizational system. As a manager, I immediately began to recognize that there was a problem due to the volume of complaints. The terms group and volume would immediately send signals that it may not be the employees at fault. Schlevogt (2001) emphasizes “that it is important for leaders to change their perceptions and understand the value of training” (p. 4). that's why as a manager of this company I started to conduct performance analysis to determine if the problems could be solved and corrected through training, employee interviews and input is also an important part of the step. Performance analysis informs how employees are performing, identifying what they want to do or what they can do...... middle of paper ...... costly to the company. Because all programs must be measurable management to monitor results, they must monitor the reduction in the number of complaints and returns. Works Cited References Dessler, G. (2011).
