Managing my time effectively manifested itself through volunteering and working, as I balanced my studies and professional life. My bilingual ability is an advantage, as banks are international organizations, in which effective communication with customers from other regions is required. I participated in a language club, where I played the vital role of a teacher, introducing people to the world of Nepali language and culture. DofE and NCS encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone, get involved and take on new challenges. As a team, we completed tasks requiring crucial problem-solving skills gained through our logical mindset. This established a proper decision-making regulation during the DofE, which, in hindsight, helped us adopt a positive attitude to finding our way back to camp.
