  • Essay / The most important characteristics of a good project...

Every person has a different personality and point of view. Being attentive and open-minded is necessary. Conflict is inevitable when we work with other people. Conflict can be classified into constructive conflict that can improve the quality of team decisions and destructive conflict that occurs when two people or groups of people debate based on emotion. A good project manager should be someone who can understand both sides and resolve the conflict. Not only resolving conflicts, showing empathy can also improve individual performance. Once the project manager understands the situation and the feelings of the team members, he can give them advice and then the problem can be resolved. In this case, empathy is also part of my attributions. I have been to many places. For example, a small town where I was born in a developing country and one of the centers of the world like New York. These opportunities gave me great chances to learn and understand people's views and roots of thinking. After analyzing the attributes and skills a good project manager should possess and comparing it with my personality and experiences, I discovered that there are many common aspects between them. In other words, this shirt, namely a good project manager, suits me on many points. However, I still have room to improve in this regard. Gaining more experiences, adjusting perspective and learning more skills would make me fit this shirt perfectly.
