Bonaparte was one of the greatest leaders who lived, he had created a vast empire which had an immense reach across the world in his time, he had taken the position of Louis XVI which is the perfect example of why there should be no blood relation as to who is placed in power in an autocratic system. Ironically, one of the things that resonated most with the French people at the time when Bonaparte was very tough was meritocracy. Meritocracy involves assigning someone to a position based on their abilities and skills rather than other factors such as relationship to an individual. This was very important because the French people were fed up with incompetent people running the country. It was no longer the rich who received all the jobs, but now those who were the most efficient, which allowed the establishment of a much more fluid system. It is important to evaluate this case because in my government we are not going to rely on bloodlines and create dynasties in which families rule for centuries, but rather we will have a system based on meritocracy in which every role , at any level, goes to those who are most competent and able to work with
