The video game “Batman: Arkham Origins” is a very bold and enticing tale of the Batman mythology. The game tells an epic story set in a bustling Gotham City and puts you in the cape and cowl of Batman himself using everything he has at his disposal; both in his detective skills and his legendary arsenal of gadgets. It's Christmas Eve and Batman has a fifty million dollar bounty on his head set by the criminal Black Mask. Set in the second year of Bruce Wayne's crime-fighting career. You play as the Dark Knight himself as he encounters some of his most legendary villains for the first time: the Joker, Bane, Penguin and the Riddler are just a few of the game's enemies from the legendary Rouge Gallery from Batman. The game has been compared to previous titles in the series such as "Batman: Arkham City". Where it received praise for better story as well as gameplay mechanics, other games it was compared to would be the open world adventure "Assassins Creed" and the rich story filled "Uncharted: Drakes Adventure". All three games sharing solid gameplay choose your own path of open-world adventure and have won awards for their solid story. The game is a vivid, vivid imagination of what it would be like to wear Batman's cowl. The city lives thanks to interactivity. A snowstorm blankets Gotham City, the wind tears through the night sky and even slowly tears Batman's cape as he makes his way through the night. The cold storm and razor-sharp wind are as dangerous as the madmen who inhabit this once great city. There are signs of criminal activity everywhere, Joker's thugs have painted clowns all over the Gotham Royal Hotel, Two-Face has defaced the Statue of Justice in City Hall, even the Crook. ..... middle of paper...... about the game, the one I agree with is the controls. While sliding across the horizon, Batman can have issues with small cramped spaces and poor controls, it can be difficult to slide in the right direction. Sometimes the gadgets wouldn't respond until you repeatedly pressed the corresponding buttons and hoped for the best. Overall, “Batman: Arkham Origins” is an incredible game. Batman fans to action gamers who have never read a Batman comic can enjoy this game. Thrills, thrills, mystery and imagination await in this amazing tale set in the dark world of Gotham City. The game does an incredible job of putting you in the role of Batman, from gadgets, to detective work, to life in Gotham City.
