  • Essay / I Believe Abortion Is Murder - 1295

ClaimMy argument is based on an opinion piece from an online magazine article "We Perform Abortions Here: A Nurse's Account." The nurse disagrees with abortion because of what different women experience. She says you want kids, so why put yourself in the position to achieve them, and that some women are too careless. She gives different scenarios of what women experience when they are about to have an abortion, but it is not an easy thing. The nurse always asks these women: "Are you sure you want to have an abortion?" (Tisdale, 1987)SupportFirst, my definition of murder is the intentional and unlawful killing of one human being by another. Likewise, when it comes to abortion, I think it's murder. In fact, abortion is wrong for reasons that go beyond God's laws and moral requirements. Not only that, but abortion is totally wrong because the baby is a full human being. A woman should not have the right to kill her child. If murder is illegal, killing a baby must be illegal too. With this in mind, I learned that six weeks after conception, the baby's heart starts beating. Certainly, this is a real child assembled in a woman's body. It certainly can't be an alien or an animal. As far as I know, from the moment he is conceived, he is a child. In reality, once pregnant, life is called a baby instantly and the mother-to-be officially begins to prepare for the birth of the child. This could include purchasing walkers, prams, etc. From a psychological point of view, once women decide to abort, they are troubled for a long time because they realize that they are killing a child. It does not leave their consciousness. More likely, middle of paper......ancy is definitely no walk in the park. Abortion is legal today and it is tolerated. Conclusion In conclusion, for those of you who support abortion and think it is acceptable, put yourself in the babies' shoes. I know that everyone has to die and that we don't live on earth forever. That being said, I can't imagine dying. I don't want to imagine the world without me. As a result, I would like to know how you, all those who support abortion, would feel if someone took away your ability to live. For a second, imagine not being able to have the ability to say whether or not you want to live or die, but also not being able to have a real voice in that case. Unfortunately, babies do not have the right to choose in the womb. This is very hurtful and tragic. Please refrain from abortion and be responsible. It's cruel and unfair.
