    The School Uniform Market BusinessUniform Co. has been operating in this district for ten years and has established itself only in the blue-collar market. The Uniform Co.'s uniform production machines are operating at fifty percent capacity and we have a surplus of employees. To achieve optimal profits, the company must lay off some of its staff or expand its operations to other markets. Uniform Co. has a good reputation for treating its employees well and should continue to do so by expanding into the school uniform business. The school uniform market is growing at a record pace (King 3). Public schools introduced uniforms into the school environment and parochial schools expanded (Allen 2). Yet these students must rely on their supplies from out-of-town retailers. Now is the biggest opportunity to open up the school uniform market. Expanding into this market is now a good idea due to the recent development of the “National Goals Program” in the United States (photo 1). Among the reform policies is the compulsory wearing of school uniforms (photo 1). Young adults all have the desire and need to fit the norm, and the norm today is to be fashionable. Everyone likes to look great and clothes play an important role in achieving this goal.
