The Middle Ages 1066-1485 It was very difficult for me to choose a topic, but I decided to write about this topic because it was the one. which I preferred and which was the easiest for me to understand. I think it's because I learned about some things about the Middle Ages when I was in college. But the points that caught my attention in the Middle Ages were its beginnings, a system called feudalism and the role of men and women during this period. When Duke William of Normandy, better known as William the Conqueror, effectively took all the lands from the Saxon English and gave them to French nobles. Certain points caught my attention. The beginning of the Middle Ages saw the murder of King Harold of England by Duke William of Normandy, better known as William the Conqueror. William is also called "Guillaume II" in relation to his position as Duke of Normandy. He was also a great soldier, he won many wars. But I don't understand how he could kill King Harold if he was just a duke and supposedly the king had all the power at that time..
