Since I began following Christ at the age of 16, I feel that I have grown considerably as a person. I have developed a divine love for people and strive to treat everyone with love and not simply favor those of higher socio-economic status. Another strength that God has helped me develop is a love of helping others. This school year, I made a firm effort to always put the academic needs of others ahead of my own; Simply put, I try to help others with their work before doing my own. My experience volunteering at my church and leading Willard's Fellowship of Christian Students (FCS) have helped me become comfortable meeting and working with different types of people. Leading Bible studies and taking a public speaking course have helped me feel comfortable and organized when giving speeches. Coming back to the secular side, another strength is the strong study habits I developed through trial and error on my own and observing my peers. I also became proficient in Microsoft Office by taking two computer science courses during my senior year. Although I have listed many personal strengths, I understand and accept that I am not better than anyone else and still have much to learn and develop personally.
