    Social media has led many people to depression, because their confidence has been ruined by the thoughts and opinions of others. Sometimes these people put these hurtful thoughts and opinions into real words on their social media page and cause the other person to question the worth of their being. In other words, it's called cyberbullying. It is “when a child, preteen or adolescent is tormented, threatened, harassed, humiliated, embarrassed or otherwise targeted by another child, preadolescent or adolescent using the Internet, interactive and digital technologies or cell phone” (stopcyberbullying .org). It is one of the most talked about topics all over the world. According to an article on cyberbullying, “more than half of teens have been bullied online, and about the same number have engaged in cyberbullying” (Hall). The most affected by cyberbullying are high school students, because they spend most of their time on social networks.
