Financial Report for a School ProductionPURPOSE: The purpose of the financial report is to provide school principals with information on the costs and revenues of the school production. The finance office had data on income and expenses from school production. This was used to generate an analysis of production revenues for the governors' meeting. INCOME: The production took place over three evenings, the venue could accommodate a total of three hundred people and tickets cost: Adult tickets = £6.00 Children's ticket = £2.50 ========= ==============OAP Tickets = £3.00 ==================== 1st Night Tickets TypesTotal TicketsTotal RevenueAdult Tickets132*6 .00 £792 Child ticket50* £2.50 £125 OAP20 tickets* £3.00 £60 Total tickets and amount ======================= ==202£977[IMAGE]First night On the first night of the production, the number of adult ticket sales was higher than that of children's tickets because one child was accompanied by parents and other family members (as were all OAPs like their grandparents). This creates a situation in which the production appears to be aimed at adults as the primary audience. 10% of tickets were sold to OAPs and their number was quite reasonable as not all OAPs would be interested in children's school production. 65% of tickets were sold to adults and 25% to children. You will notice that there has been a big decrease in children's tickets because they spend less money on advertising and children's tickets were too affordable. The percentage of tickets sold was 67%; investing more money in advertising could increase this figure. The total revenue they earn that day was lower than average because they spend less money on advertising. Types of tickets for the 2nd night
