    Organizational CultureChanges that occur within an organization do not occur alone. Organizational change involves detailed management and planning. Organizational change does not happen overnight and employee resistance is inevitable. It is imperative to have management organized and ready to demonstrate leadership in providing solutions to resistance issues. Although resistance to change is inevitable, an organization must experience change in order to support changes, whether economic, technological or financial. An organization's success depends on how it manages and responds to change. It is imperative for an organization to engage employees in change because the employee business model describes the logic by which your organization creates, delivers and captures value. Your organization needs a business model concept that everyone understands; one that facilitates description and discussion. People have to start from the same place and talk about the same problem. Organizations use strategic alignment to conduct an internal audit of their assets and their strategic impact. Review your operational decisions using a scoring system to evaluate them based on their usefulness and reliability. Every year, my organization conducts an employee performance review. However, they do not take employee feedback into account. Many current and past employees have mentioned that if they took our feedback into consideration, the organization and/or department would run more smoothly. Many of them feel that performance reviews take away from what they bring to the company. There must be some kind of goals that are followed by all employees and not some employees. Strategic alignment measures the success of your strategic plan. Measurement methods vary, but each aims to quantify how well your business decisions align with your strategies. Most common: An organization is expected to implement changes because it must prioritize and understand the overall benefits resulting from the change. Organizational change is stressful for employees and the organization (Spector, B. 2010). Management and staff must work together to ensure changes within the organization work well. When it comes to resistance, it is impossible for an organization to satisfy all of its employees, however, the company can take necessary steps to accommodate employees, such as offering a bonus or additional vacation time. Management must also be prepared to respond to questions and reactions relevant to business changes. By explaining the importance of change and the level of commitment, employees will realize that organizational change is necessary and relevant to the success of the company.
