    I gained field and documentation experiences in the field of environmental safety through internships. For my final internship, I would like to bring together all of my practice as an Environmental Health and Safety Intern for Naval Base Crane located in Crane, Indiana. Depending on whether I can get a position there and whether I am compatible: I would like to continue as an EHS specialist. As a major, I would prefer either Ergonomics or Industrial Hygiene because I enjoyed and excelled in these courses throughout my college education. While at Indiana State University, I was exposed to air sampling, hazardous waste disposal processes, and asbestos control. The variety of daily work is what attracts me to environmental safety. Early in my career, I will pursue certification as a Certified Safety Specialist. If Crane chooses to pay tuition, I will continue my education to obtain a master's degree in safety management, either at Indiana State University or Indiana University. After a few years of specialization in security, I want to become an EHS manager within the Ministry of Defense which includes the Crane naval base. I have no preference between remaining at Crane Naval Base or transferring. Since government agencies have sufficient retirement plans, I would like to work for the Department of Defense until
