Is there a poet who can be classified into a certain poetic style? Does the name Pablo Neruda sound familiar to you? Well, this Hispanic poet, Pablo Neruda, cannot be classified into a certain poetic style because his poems embody different styles of writing. Pablo Neruda's poems range from themes of love to themes of death. “Fully Empowered,” “Tonight I Can Write,” and “The Heights of Macchu Picchu” are three poems that contrast in their themes, styles, and tones. “Fully Empowered,” “Tonight I Can Write,” and “The Heights of Macchu Picchu” have varying themes, but no theme in these poems is the same as that of the other. In “FullyEmpowered,” the theme carries on creativity when writing a poem Literary critic Bryan Aubrey says that "Fully Empowered" is a "relaxed, confident, dynamic poem in which Neruda is able to access his creativity" (46). spends the majority of his life writing poems at times when he feels emotions begin to build up within him. One emotion he felt was the love and passion he had for someone that. he loved, which led him to write "Tonight I CanWrite." The theme of this poem focuses on letting someone go because it's the right thing to do. Tonight I can write”, Pablo Neruda says: “Although this is the last pain that she makes me suffer” He means that he finally lets her go and believes that this is the last pain that he will suffer. will endure from her lover. Pablo Neruda was a strong man, but literary critic MarisaAnne Pagnattaro says he was tormented when his lover was placed in the hands of another man.
