    This article analyzes the work of other academic works on aging. These are educational articles about Alzheimer's disease, dementia, etc. This is in no way my original work, but simply an analysis of others. Dugdale focuses his work on what might cause people to slow down as they age and often become less productive. With the intended audience being the general public, Dugdale attempts to educate the public about the fundamental factors that cause cognitive regression as people age. As people age, the nervous system begins to slow down. This means that the nerve cells between the spinal cord and the brain lose traction and messages sent between the two slow down. This is due to years of buildup of size between nerve cells. Over the years, these nerve cells can become tangled and increase the likelihood of a person's senses failing, but the same cannot be said for everyone. While some people develop problems with the nervous system, others may develop problems with brain tissue. This means that as plaque or tangles grow in people's brains, it can lead to problems.....
