    I Kings 19:11-13 recounts the prophet Elijah's search for God. He sits and waits for him, expecting a windstorm, earthquake, or fire to precede his presence. But nothing like that happens to him. In fact, when God finally appears, he speaks to Elijah in a low voice. My testimony is like that of Elijah. It is not a sudden change like a windstorm, an unstable foundation like an earthquake, or destruction and loss like a fire. Instead, it is quiet and simple, a seemingly insignificant whisper from the Lord. I was never a bad child. I have had my share of bad behavior, but I have never rejected God or rebelled against Him. When I was 7 years old, I felt Jesus' call in my heart and understood that I had to accept his grace to be saved from the hell I deserved. There have been no miraculous changes or amazing conversions in my life. I was just a little girl who understood that I needed a Savior and surrendered my life to Him.
