By focusing on areas like this, tobacco companies are insinuating that the residents who reside there are fools. If society as a whole could educate and encourage people in these areas to adopt a healthier lifestyle and if tobacco companies stopped influencing people, then I think we could see a better quality of life in general. The more educated people are, the more knowledge they acquire. The more encouragement people receive, the more empowered they become. The more independent people are, the more productive they become. The more productive people are, the more prosperous the community. Fewer children would go to school sick because there would be less second-hand smoke. Fewer children would go to school hungry because there would be more money for food in the household. More children would perform better academically with more substance in their lives. Families would be happier, healthier, and hopefully live longer to instill their values in the next generation.
