    It cannot be denied that English has become the language of science and technology in the global scenario of its education. Given the global context, more students are now enrolling in professional science courses than in the past. It is therefore absolutely necessary to find out the difficulties of these students in the use of English to check their excellence in the current education system. In India also, English is widely used in the field of science and technology. This is also true for agricultural education. In our country, agricultural education is gaining more and more importance as agriculture is considered as the backbone of the country and hence the present study is important. Considering the importance of the use of English, the study was conducted with the following specific objectives. 1. Study the academic career of students,2. Examine the students' attitude towards the current English course, and3. Determine the constraints encountered by students in learning English. Methodology The study was conducted in the eight agricultural colleges under the four SAUs. From each university, two colleges, one constituent and one private affiliate, were chosen. From each college, fifty students were randomly selected. The questionnaire was the main instrument used to collect data for this study. It is used to gather information from the students' perspective on the problems undertaken.
