The Boston Massacre was an important event in the history of the United States, which led to the American Revolution. This event brought attention to the unfair way in which British soldiers treated the colonists. The British treated the colonists unfairly by taxing them and using their homes for shelter and food. They used them for food by having meals prepared for them and if the settler was a farmer with horses, he took the horses as well.
