The Patient is the Reason You Have a Job; so you need to prioritize their needs. The sick, people in poor health or anyone in hospital receiving care are patients, and not only their needs, but also those of their families, must be the priority. Second, nurses must continue their education throughout their lives to stay current with current medical research. Additionally, I choose the second focus of nursing as a research because nurses need to know the latest health trends in order to provide the best, safest and most convenient care to the patient. Third, nurses should focus on excellence not only in patient care, but also by being excellent in their practice, in their workplace, and even when they think no one is watching. Last but not least, there is research, because research expands nursing knowledge and helps us become better as a group.
