    Havana is one of the most architecturally diverse cities. At the start of the 20th century, Havana was an influential international power, enriched with art nouveau, art deco and eclectic design. This boom period was the turning point in Cuba's continuing economic changes through the eras of change. Since the arrival of Christopher Columbus, Havana was the key destination for expeditions from the Old World and the New World. These resources supported the colonialists, and thanks to Havana's strategic location, it became the most heavily fortified city in the Americas. The Fortaleza de San Carlos de la Cabana can still today be a symbol of the agricultural wealth of the time, located at the entrance to the Bay of Havana. Spanish and Moorish cultural styles strongly influenced the Cuban capital, including Italian, Greek and Roman styles. You can see the Spanish influence through the Convent of Santa Clara and the Cuban Baroque is representative through the Cathedral Plaza. Cuban Island: TravelCuba has been a highly sought after location for its natural white sand beaches and crystal clear waters. Cuba is known for three mountain ranges and two long savannah provinces. Sugar Mill, Yumurí and Viñales are some regions known throughout the world for the abundance of their products. Five hundred species of fish inhabit the waters, which is a treat for anyone who wants to snorkel. For those who wish to venture further into the depths of the sea, is scuba diving in transparent water an option?
