Early childhood education is one of the most important policy topics. Research has proven that the early years of childhood are a critical time for children to develop their full potential. as well as develop academic, social and cognitive skills that determine not only academic success but also their entire life (The White House). The right to a free public education is guaranteed to all children in the United States. Preschool education is voluntary and, as a result, some children do not have the opportunity to reach their full potential. As a staff member at the National Association for the Education of Young Children, I believe it is important to promote and invest in affordable, high-quality, effective educational programs. is the most advantageous position on this subject. We remain true to our mission on this issue and work to achieve a high-quality early childhood education (NAEYC) system. First, the research explains the importance and critique of learning in the early stages of life, and how it reflects later outcomes. Throughout childhood, the development of communication skills and learning abilities supports other essential improvements. Even before children enter elementary school, poor academic skills are associated with behavioral and attention problems (The National Academic Press, 124). Academic achievement during adolescence can be attributed to academic skills acquired years later upon entry to school. (The National Academic Press, 125) It is clear that early involvement in learning and development is very beneficial and affects many aspects of life. It does not predetermine our lives, but rather sets the stage for healthy development.
