Going in, I expected college to be similar to my high school experience. So far, after taking one semester, my prediction was pretty accurate. My grades stayed in the lower areas for a while, just like in high school. After re-evaluating how I managed my time, adding extra study hours, and increasing my personal motivation, I saw a huge improvement in my grades. The study strategies I used, like creating quizzes and reviewing key terms on flash cards, really helped me retain more information.
