As a result, most organizations and entrepreneurs pay particular attention to the leaders they put in place to lead their company and its employees to victory, which is the ultimate goal of their organization. It is well known that leadership is an important factor in the success of an organization, but the type of leadership style as well as the personality of the leader is what actually determines this level of success. In my research, I concluded that the most important leadership styles are transformational and transactional leadership. Transformational leadership has the potential to resurrect, transform and evolve businesses over time. Transactional leadership may well have negative effects on some, but if used correctly, it can promote conformity from a nearly stagnant team, both through rewards and punishments. When companies look for leaders, they not only look at their candidates' experience in a particular area of their business, but they also pay close attention to the personality of those individuals. They do this because they know that a candidate's leadership style and abilities are strongly affected by their personality and opinions.
