I demonstrate leadership in my life by attending college because I am the first generation in my family to attend school. I consider myself a leader because I believe in hard work and I am not lazy in achieving my goals. When I set my mind on something, I succeed at it and if I fail, I try again. I'm not the type of person to give up so easily when things get tough, especially when I'm determined to achieve my goal. Coming to school in San Antonio was going to be a big challenge that I had to face because from then on I would be on my own. I was afraid of being alone for the first time. At first, being alone in San Antonio, I was a little afraid that I would be alone and miss my family and home. I feel like living alone in San Antonio was a difficult challenge that I had to face, but I've already overcome it. Living alone taught me to be independent, responsible and to manage my school and professional time. Facing the toughest challenge yet motivated me to be ready to take on any other challenges that came my way. I believe it has made me the person I am today, a hard worker, goal seeker and intelligent woman. My professional goals in life are to find a good job that makes me happy, to get a good education, to find a job that makes me happy. I earn enough money to support my family and help people. Goals are very important to me in order to receive a good education. Most job fields require a decent education. My next goal is to become an architect and attending this university will help me achieve that.
