Green Mountain Resort Case StudyIntroductionIn this week's assignment we will discuss change management imagery and how it relates to the Green Mountain Resort Case Study. First, I will identify the images of change held by the key actors in the case study. We will then examine how the assumed images of change influenced the resolution of the problems addressed in the case study. Next, we will apply an additional change image to the case study and discuss the possible outcome. Then finally, I will discuss thoughts on the text's statement "if we rely solely on one particular framework, then it will take us away from thinking about what is happening from an alternative perspective" (Palmer, Dunford, Akin p. 42) . , 2009).What images of change were identified in the case studyThe first part of this week's assignment is to identify the images of change evoked in this reading as they relate to Gunter, the station manager, the literature hotelier and Green Mountain consultant. Station case study. Before we look at these areas in the case study, let's take a minute to review the six images of change management. Our text explains that the six different images of change management are 1) Director, 2) Navigator, 3) Guardian, 4) Coach, 5) Performer and 6) Nurturer (Palmer, Dunford, Akin p. 27-34, 2009 ). Let's look at Gunter, the station manager, and the change in image he seems to have to address the issue of the plot twist in the story. Gunter approached the situation from the director's image logically and tried to control the situation and correct/change the problem of the organization (staff turnover). Gunter also seemed to display an optimistic view that he could change/fix the resort problem as long as he followed the correct middle of paper......ain Resort. We first examined the images of change held by the main actors in the case study.
