Think of a place you could call home. This was impossible before the Neolithic revolution. During the Paleolithic era, which spanned from the beginning of human life until around 10,000 BCE, people were nomadic. They lived in groups and spent most of their time hunting and gathering food. However, around 10,000 BCE, people began farming and domesticating animals. This period is known as the Neolithic Revolution. The Neolithic revolution would not have occurred with the development of agriculture, followed by a specialization of jobs and the development of more sophisticated technologies.
