Grapes of Wrath: SummaryThe book Grapes of Wrath tells about the problems of the people of Dust Bowl that they encountered when coming to California. It chronicles Joad's journey from Oklahoma to California. The Joad family has twelve people. The person who stood out the most in your family was Mom. Ma's great strength and intelligent thinking is what keeps the Joad family together and going on. Ma's strong sequels are featured throughout the book. Nancy Reagan once said, "A woman is like a tea bag: only in hot water do you realize how strong she is." » I don't know how Nancy Reagan did it, but she described Ma Joad to you exactly. The first time Ma's strength showed itself was when Grandma died. She lied to an inspector, saying, “We have a sick old lady. We need to take him to a doctor. We can't wait. The detective bought the story and let them go to California. Even then, Mom didn't tell the family that Grandma was dead, but she left Grandma's dead carp there until they got to California. “She looked at the valley and said: Grandma is dead.” She keeps the family together when they want to separate. The first time this was shown in the book, they stopped to help the Wilsons with the car. Tom suggested that he and Casey stay and fix the car while the rest of the family goes to Bakersfield and they would meet them there. Mom then let out her fury, brandished a tire iron and demanded that they all stay together and go to Bakersfield together. Mom is also very intelligent. His common sense is superior to that of the rest of the family. When Tom is struck under the eye by an officer, Ma hatches a plan to get Tom out of this government camp. She says, "We'll put a mattress down there, and then Tom quickly gets there, and we take another mattress and kind of fold it so it makes a cave." She really puts her foot down with what she wants
