    The history of car audio dates back to the early 1900s. George Frost carried out the first car audio experiment in 1922. The evolution of car radios began with the Transitone Th-1, in 1927. The first FM rollover tape in cars was introduced in 1952. In 1965, the 8-track player was introduced in Ford vehicles. In the early 1960s, cassette tapes were introduced, but did not become popular until 1977. FM became more popular in the 1980s, and the first car compact disc players were introduced in the 1980s. In the early 2000s, the XM satellite was introduced to the country. Car audio has had such an impact on vehicles over the past seven decades. Car audio has evolved from the simplest to the most complex forms. The car audio system model varies with each vehicle model.
