Essay / The Importance of Cameras in Police Camera
For a police officer to have a camera on him recording his every move and every word can not only be very uncomfortable and distracting, but an invention of his private life. They would no longer be able to say what they think, scratch their armpits or something as simple as sneezing without feeling like the camera on their uniform is preventing them from doing it and feel comfortable and safe while doing so. For the public, it will not only be intimidating to know that the officer is recording their every move and that their words may put suspects and victims in danger and uncomfortable. For example, if a victim of domestic violence is asked to show their bruises or other injuries, they may hesitate knowing that exposing their shoulder or chest will be recorded and that several people will do so..
