1. IntroductionStatistical data from the National Institute of Health (United States) (2011) reveals and estimates that cases of blindness will double every 20 years. It is therefore crucial to invent new technologies and devices to deal with this inevitable problem. Carroll summarizes the impacts of blindness, including loss of psychological safety, basic living skills, communication, appreciation, and overall personality. The literature of Emile Durkheim (1897) suggests that social discrimination and isolation can even lead to selfish suicide. Electronic glasses are invented exclusively for blind people with the aim of helping them live more conveniently as well as rebuild their self-confidence and self-esteem. More importantly, this pair of glasses can help them integrate into society again and make their lives easier and better. 2.1 Basic structure and design The invention can be considered as a set of two elements, the glasses and the Bluetooth device. electronic glasses are probably the same as those we wear, except that conventional and infrared micro-cameras are located at the two front corners of the frame and a small button for connection with the service center is placed on its arm . Meanwhile, two important software, Global Positioning System (GPS) and JAWS, are integrated into the glasses while the connection unit, Central Processing Unit (CPU), is inserted inside the glasses . Since the different components of the glasses are connected by wires, the frame is made of plastic to avoid possible electric shocks. Regarding environmental friendliness and service life, lithium-ion batteries are used. On the other hand, the micropho...... middle of paper ......is found only on the software.3. Conclusion Undoubtedly, electronic glasses cannot make blind people live like a normal person, but they can definitely make them live in a relatively more pleasant and extraordinary way. They can enjoy their lives in various ways, with much more convenient transportation choices for getting around, while cooking will be safe and sound and eating out will no longer be a problem because they can now read the menu. Additionally, they no longer need to be in despair over losing their written communication ability and constantly carrying around the giant optacon device. Fears and the feeling of getting lost and no longer having anyone to rely on will disappear. In conclusion, electronic glasses not only provide comfort to the blind but at the same time help them reintegrate into society..
