    Of the five commercials that I analyzed sociologically, this one was the most interesting and unique that I observed. First of all, this advert is only shown while watching TV online and the duration of the Pampers advert was longer than any other advert, it was over two minutes long. The use of pathos and logos insinuated that babies bring out the best in us. That's the message behind the new Pampers ad. The ad features a retelling of the classic lullaby “Hush Little Baby”; the commercial shows a mother singing to her baby about all the good things people do for babies and how a small act of kindness leads to major changes in a child's life. Some examples include a grandmother who learns to read so she can help with bedtime stories, an uncle who promises to quit smoking for his new niece or nephew, and a stranger who helps a mother down stairs with her stroller . Commerce targets society as a whole and is an agent of social change. Pampers describes in its advertising how everyone should act and how the world would be different if they did.
