Essay / The Evolution of Mobile Phones - 1383
The mobile phone is a portable, non-biological entity that has many different functions, but primarily intended for wireless communication. A modern mobile phone is a composition of different components, like antennas, connectors, shields, speakers, touch window, vibrators and battery, etc. Modern mobile phones have many differences from the mobile phones of yesteryear. The development of mobile phones is rapid and successful. Mobile phones are becoming more and more user-friendly and allow their users to carry out leisure and entertainment activities such as playing video games, listening to music and radio, taking photos and surfing the Internet. In 1947, when the technology of mobile radio and radio frequencies was not so advanced, a person named DH Ring was the first to design a cell phone service. However, this idea was not widely adopted because the technology at the time was not that advanced and people simply thought it didn't seem possible. Then technology improved after 1965, more customer numbers, channels were available but still there was no sign of the advent of the cell phone. In 1971, a company called AT&T first proposed a cell phone system to the FCC, the Federal Communications Commission. Until April 3, 1973, a man named Martin Cooper, who worked as a researcher at Motorola, managed to make a call using the wireless device¹! This opened a new page in the history of communication between humans and mobile phones! The following year, the FCC began encouraging cell phone companies to work on developing and improving cell phones. In 1977, cell phone testing was authorized by the Chicago FCC. The company that obtained the license was the Bell Telephone Company². Middle of paper......useful functions and bugs are usually eliminated and fixed. Take the Galaxy S2 and Galaxy S3 as an example. According to the above information, the evolution of Galaxy S2 to Galaxy S3 has brought some changes in the overall appearance and software of the mobile phone. These changes included both beneficial and undesirable changes. For example, the size and weight of the S3 were increased, which was not preferred. However, the screen size (diagonal) has increased significantly and the operating system has been improved. Both of these changes were good changes. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S3 retained some features from the S2, like the 8-megapixel Auto Focus camera. This fits perfectly with the principle of trait inheritance. S3 inherits the same camera property as S2. In fact, other cell phone brands are in the same situation. like iphone5 will also have some same features as iphone4.
