I have always found politics and business fascinating. I am particularly looking forward to focusing in much greater depth on marketing, the economic environment, finance and European politics at university. My interest in politics and business goes beyond the purely academic. I often find myself debating political topics during social debates or with friends. The range of opinions in politics means I am re-evaluating my views. I like reading outside. My favorite is “The Globalization of World Politics” by Baylis et al. I like reading political and economic news from the Guardian and the Financial Times. This makes my learning easier because it gives me a broader understanding of my topics beyond that of the program. My interests in politics and business are linked as economics, change and business success are greatly influenced by the UK government, the EU and the world. .
