JavaScript uses tracking pixels and cookies. The boundaries of implementing the Web Analytics ecosystem in organizations can be quite unclear, as visitor interaction and preferences change rapidly over time. Additionally, web data provides little information about the user other than their clicking habits. An example would be why a particular visitor to a website did not ultimately become its customer.
