It is essential that students feel comfortable in the classroom as well as comfortable with each other and the teacher in order to be able to concentrate on learning. As also pointed out by Ferlazzo & Sypnieski, 2012, Internet access, computer laboratories, document cameras, computer projectors and computer laboratories are tools that have a positive impact on language learning. They can be used to reinforce learning as well as a strategic vehicle to improve student engagement. However, Ferlazzo and Sypnieski also clarified that substantial learning can take place without the use of technology. Building knowledge through participation, experience and experimentation, also known as the hands-on approach, works very well with language learning (Ferlazzo and Sypnieski, 2012). All WSU College teachers aimed to help students construct their own knowledge through participation in games and activities.
