Some of the best-known activists who have worked for women's rights are Susan B. Anthony, Alice Stone Blackwell, and Betty Friedan. One of the most well-known women's organizations is the NOW organization. Since its creation, it has had a great influence on women's rights. Women have been fighting for so long to gain their equality and status in society. It was a very long and difficult fight for women's rights. Even though women are not yet paid equally, we are getting there today, in 2014, because Obama is now taking more time to discuss and find a solution to this problem. With so many extraordinary organizations. fighting for equal rights for women I think women can finally be better seen as they are not really taken for granted. At the time, women could not vote or work outside the home and if they did, they were treated with disrespect and ridicule.
