No matter where we come from, our families always have stories to share about what they know, they usually have no scientific proof or support, but there are is about traditional culture and values. Native Americans always have a creator, usually an Earth Creator or Earth Initiate, whom they worship and to whom they give thanks. They use these stories to teach their children and their children's children to appreciate what they have. They want to believe that these precious resources, like water, land and food, came from someone. Although they are not physically visible, they believe that the powerful creator always watches over and protects.
