Essay / The importance of criminal justice - 1430
The essence of spreading the values of legality in correctional institutions lies in the need to create a crime-free society. This is why the Constitution stipulates that correctional institutions must exercise fairness and lawfulness in their exercise of correction of criminals (FBI, 2009). The Constitution can channel the change needed to correct public attitudes toward America's correctional facilities. The source of legitimacy that comes from the constitution will allow the centers to explore more improved ways of fighting crime. Legitimacy can be achieved through mutual understanding and the investment of time and trust in the correctional facilities available today. Every institution faces difficulties and people should have hope in the centers that they can achieve perfection with more means.
