Essay / The Rising Price of Crude Oil - 847
IntroductionEveryone in the world is part of the economy and everyone is involved in using economic rules in daily life. Economics is a study of how societies manage scarce resources (Mankiw 2012). We become a customer since we are born for various products and services such as food, drinks and medical treatments. In another way, some people access various roles in the economic world, such as producers, traders and agents. From the economic point of view, there are two important things which are the concept of resource scarcity and two branches of economic studies which are microeconomics and macroeconomics. Scarcity means that resources are limited in the nature of society and therefore not all desired goods and services can be produced (Mankiw 2012). Macroeconomics focuses on the total production of a nation and how the nation distributes its limited resources of land, labor and capital with the aim of capitalizing on production levels and supporting trade and growth for future generations. Microeconomics examines similar questions, but at the level of the individuals and businesses surrounded by the economy. Its approach will likely be more scientific and will study the elements that make up the entire economy. The problem Nowadays, resources are becoming limited, especially non-renewable resources such as fossil fuel oil, coal and natural gas. Additionally, fuel is one of the main sources of energy in daily life. Everyone in the world uses vehicles that need fuel to get around. For example, as workers must use a vehicle to reach their workplace, all goods must be transferred to the market or store. Lately, fuel has become a major topic all over the world. This is due to the dramatic increase in global oil prices... middle of paper...... a way must be found to investigate and study alternative energy sources. With the availability of these alternative energy sources to reduce dependence on petroleum resources. People should also be more careful in using oil resources and not waste energy resources indiscriminately. Work cited by the Energy Information Administration. (2007).
