    IntroductionThe culture of Ancient Rome existed during one of the most fascinating periods in history, and many of the diverse aspects of this culture can still be seen in the Roman culture today. It is perhaps important to note that the term "Ancient Roman culture" is generally used to refer to the culture of the Roman Republic which later became the Roman Empire. The empire covered a wider area, stretching from Morocco and the Scottish lowlands to the Euphrates (O'Sullivan, 2011). This article seeks to dispel the notion that understanding culture is not as simple as describing it based on common behaviors. It will discuss various key aspects of the culture of ancient Rome, such as its social structure, its political structure, its economic structure, as well as how it was affected by its social contract over time.The social structure of culture of ancient RomeThe social The structure of ancient Rome was based primarily on several key characteristics, such as heredity, citizenship, wealth, freedom, and property. Women's social status was defined by that of their husband or father and was expected to take care of homes. Slaves, mostly prisoners of war, were considered part of the social order in this culture, even though they were at the bottom of the system. The social structure was also made up of upper class citizens known as patricians. . They had their own special class because they had extra money to continue their education. Plebeians were poor, lower-class citizens, but they were somewhat wealthier than slaves. However, plebeians were subject to many restrictions than patricians and had a more difficult life in ancient Rome. Conclusion Ancient Roman culture is actually one of the most unique cultures in the world with the most fascinating history. Although some aspects of its political system are inspired by ancient Greek culture, there is a clear distinction in terms of how government is run (O'Sullivan, 2011). Some economic analysts have viewed the economic structure of ancient Rome as a market economy. However, due to the effects of the social contract, much changed, considering that the governmental structure of ancient Rome did not respect human rights, especially the poor and slaves (Erskine, 2009).
