Your meat comes from a concentrated animal feeding operation (CAFO). Animals in CAFO centers have terrible living conditions. There can be up to 30 pigs crammed into a small space, they walk in their own excrement and they are injected with medicine to prevent them from dying. Some of these pens/prison cells are so crowded that the animals trample each other to death.
