Have you ever wondered what it would look like if all students wore the same white polo shirt, black pants and neighborhood sweater walking in the corridor ? Today, public schools and many districts are discussing the possibilities of enforcing the uniform policy. In most places, many private schools already require students to wear their mandatory uniform; however, only a few public schools adopt this mandatory school uniform policy as one of their enrollment requirements. The reason not all public schools participated is that people believe they are violating freedom of choice by enforcing this mandatory uniform policy; Yet problems such as bullying and segregation have emerged in these schools. Some people still think that uniforms have no advantage. However, all public school students should be required to wear uniforms, as this would improve academic performance, reduce violent behavior based on judgment of appearance, and result in less stress for parents and students. uniform is that it helps students focus on learning. In my case, I went to a private high school a few years ago. Students must wear uniform every day; everyone dresses like a student. When I wake up each morning, I simply grab my uniform and put it on without having any other thoughts about how it will look on me; so I have more time to devote to learning. Therefore, I was prepared every day, just like everyone else. However, the high school I attended was a public school; it does not have uniform policies. Compared to my middle school, students dressed differently every day with different types of clothes. Since it does not require a uniform policy, bullying, segregation and distractions will not be the reasons for a poor school environment.
