The physical environment can be manipulated to create a quiet space for patients to recover. Likewise, the same goes for the invisible and legendary environment. Health care providers can manipulate their approach to care to also meet an individual's emotional and spiritual needs, thereby promoting a holistic, comprehensive approach to healing. Value of Healing Hospitals There is an implicit value in bringing a healing ministry to life through healing hospitals. This relationship-centered approach to health care recognizes not only the value of the patient, but also that of health care providers and their families. This philosophy promotes the overall value of personality. Additionally, whole-body healing also has the potential to promote long-term financial value. Curing the whole individual could likely reduce the incidence and recurrence of hospitalizations, which would affect the bottom line of insurers and, therefore, the consumer.
