I immediately messaged her that I needed a school and teacher to meet my needs, it wasn't long before she said yes and I started volunteering at her class. My first day wasn't as emotional as my first day of kindergarten, but it was a blast from the past. Nothing has changed, the classroom, the playground, the field, it has been such a great experience for me to connect again with a place that is so dear to me. The kids I work with call me “Mrs.” Farah "I help them with their projects and read them stories, it's the little moments I spend with these children that will forever stay in my heart and remind me that teaching is the best major choice for me. Following this introductory teaching class, I knew it would show me that I was going to hate it or that it was going to start my lifelong passion of teaching and making a difference Working with these kids made my dreams come true. reality and it makes me want to explore the world of education even more in different cultures, cities and states to truly achieve my teaching.
