If I'm not prepared for the class, I'm not going to learn in the classroom. I'm not going to get the grades I need. Above all, I will not demonstrate excellence in what I do. So I will make sure that I am prepared for the class, including reading all the material, writing down questions to ask in class, and studying my notes and online resources before quizzes and tests. Preparing for the course takes one hundred percent, and to pass, I will give one hundred percent. Then, the time actually spent in class must be used wisely. Lectures and labs are valuable tools that should be used. Therefore, one of the best things I can do is take good notes, listen well, and ask questions to make sure I understand the topic. Involvement in class is necessary to fully understand the material, as is attentive listening, with the goal of understanding the material, not just passing the course.
