Members of the indigenous religion believe that after God created them, God taught them to grow food and accomplish other things tasks, that he provided their first leader and that he is responsible for all indigenous believers, cultural values. For indigenous believers, religion is integrated into all aspects of life. Members believe in ancestral spirits and the supernatural. Sacrifices, rituals and celebrations are an integral part of daily life. Witchcraft is a practice practiced by many people in Sierra Leone. People use witchcraft to harm others or help others. Water is often considered particularly important and many religious rituals take place near the edges of lakes, rivers or rivers.
