One way to assess whether an organization is meeting its goals in providing quality care to its patients is to focus on the patient and family using the Patient and Family Centered Care Organizational Self-Assessment Tool (PFCC). This assessment tool assesses the organization's current practices, from leadership to cross-team professional development, with a rating system ranging from one for the lowest to five for the highest, with the option to rate "unsure" for each category.
