1. Introduction Regarding the current and future UK clothing and textile industries report, it shows that global consumers spent approximately US$1 trillion worldwide on clothing purchases in 2000. More Importantly, about a quarter of sales were made in Asia. (1) The scenario shows that most people are quite willing to spend a large portion of their wealth on buying clothes regularly. However, what we buy is far from what we need and this ultimately results in waste storage. This scenario inspires our team with the idea of flexible color and pattern of a fabric. From the consumer's point of view, it is obviously a gift for them to be able to enjoy a variety of designs in one garment. Therefore, waste reduction can be achieved. Furthermore, the concept of Chameleon is to use smart textile fibers to design smart and fashionable clothing which can have transition of colors, patterns and particularly warm and lightweight for users, which is our ultimate goal for the proposal. Our product can be designed as a fashionable T-shirt, colorful skirt or special pattern jeans, etc. As for our target audience, fashion designers, manufactures and general customers are all who we will serve. The existing technology analysis, detailed technical description and comparative advantages of our product are as follows.2. Literature Review Smart clothing is now gaining higher and higher market share due to advancements in technology and communication systems.(4) Meanwhile, smart textiles are growing significantly as the next generation of fibers. Yet substantial economic support and time are required in our research to test various electrochromic and manufacturing products. However, precise testing of the appropriate choice of electrochromic material and proportion of airgel fabric will be a limitation under limited resources.5. ConclusionTo sum up, our proposed new smart clothing product – Chameleon will open up a new market share of warm and smart clothing. Chameleon is a green smart garment that integrates with the latest textile fabric technologies and encourages the reuse of a single garment's message with consumers' own design. Compared to other smart clothing, Chameleon allows more flexibility and better protects the environment.
